YouTube Addiction

Dang, I just spent the last 2.5 hours watching videos on YouTube!!! I did a search for Kanye West, Common, Mos Def, and John Legend. Found all sorts of cool things. I even watched John Legend's interview on the Tyra Banks show! I'm so lame!

YouTube

YouTube is so cool. I've been spending a lot of time watching video clips of my favorite musicians (so, of course, that would be Common, Mos Def, Blackstar) on YouTube. I like all the short clips of concerts from people who sneak their cameras in.

Project Runway

I LOVE Project Runway. Michael is my favorite because he's real and he's hip hop-- jigga what? I'm on the Project Runway site now, reading Tim Gunn's blog, and it's taking FOREVER to load. I only want to read what he has to say about Michael's designs.

With these reality shows, it always takes 3-4 episodes before I get completely into it. The beginning is too new-- like you don't have a chance to get to know anybody because there are too many contestants. Right now, I'm feeling Michael and Laura. I think Laura is a sweet person who is authentic and unpretentious. I'm happy she won the last challenge. She deserved it.

Apples, bananas, fruits, and oranges

In Amsterdam now and feeling a little myspace withdrawal-- that's why I'm blogging here, ha ha. Of the 3 cities I've visited, I've had hotel Internet access in just 1 city (Berlin), and even while I was there, I didn't have time to go online. (I'm in our Amsterdam office now, but the firewall blocks myspace.)

Here's a little cultural difference I noticed:

You know that American saying, "It's like apples and oranges"? Well, here's what the other cultures say:

Dutch and German: "It's like apples and pears."
Danish and British: "It's like apples and bananas."
