Flat Faces Unite!

My sisters and I just got my dad a 6-month only pug puppy, which we named Piggie because she snorts and wheezes like a one. She came from my sister's coworker's friend, who was unable to keep her once she moved into a no-pets-allowed apartment.

Piggie (that's with an "-ie" since she's now living in the IE, aka the Inland Empire, where Temecula is, wha-what!) is really sweet and crazy cute. (More pix of Piggie here.)

Seems that my family-- especially my dad-- has a thing for flat-faced, smashed-nosed dogs.

Another breed we considered getting was an English Bulldog:

And, we had boxers when I was younger:

Now we have Piggie the Pug:

I think these flat-faced, smashed-nosed dogs appeal to my dad because they look most like him:

Funny and cute doggy! I haven't had a chance to email you back but I have been reading the tweets all about the pug. Even while I was in Guatemala!
